Donate a Car in MN

The Minnesota Vietnam Veterans Charity is operated by five Vietnam Combat Veterans. Our mission is to fund charitable activities that further the interests of all Veterans, Service Members, and their Families. We intend to honor all American Veterans and hope to make this the positive legacy of the VIETNAM VETERAN.

With your help, we can continue to support and strengthen programs committed to honoring America's veterans. A great way you can help honor our Veterans is to donate a car that you no longer need or use.

The generous proceeds from donating a car in MN to the Veteran's Car Donation Program go directly to the following programs:

•Honor Flight Twin Cities
Sending WW2 veterans, free of charge, to Washington D.C. to witness the memorial built for them, before they pass into history. We organize and fund the Twin Cities Honor flights through your donations and the donations of corporate sponsors.

•MN Military Appreciation Fund
The nonprofit and nonpartisan Minnesotans' Military Appreciation Fund (MMAF) is a statewide fundraising initiative that shows our troops how much we appreciate and respect their efforts by providing cash grants to all soldiers deployed in combat zones such as Iraq and Afghanistan, and to the families of soldiers who are killed in combat.

•Veterans Airlift Command
The VAC brings current wounded veterans together with their families, by providing private air charters, made possible by volunteer pilots and plane owners.

•The Red Tail Project
The Red Tail Project seeks to inspire youth through an educational program using the WW2 P-51C Mustang-- "Tuskegee Airmen" and the inspirational story of overcoming adversity, which is the hallmark of the Tuskegee Airmen veterans.

•MN Military Family Foundation
The MMFF seeks to financially support deployed Minnesota military personnel, their spouses and children with loans or grants during times of extraordinary financial hardship.

•MN Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV)
It is estimated that 1% of the veterans in this state, or close to 4,000, will experience an episode of homelessness this year. MACV is there to assist.

•Additional programs include National POW/MIA Day Ceremony at U of MN Stadium, Missing Man/Women Formation Flyovers, MN Commemorative Air Force Heritage Program, Flag Cases to Families of Deceased Military and Veterans, Stillwater Prison Veterans Program, and MN Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Day Ceremony.
