Veterans Airlift Command The VAC brings current wounded veterans together with their families, by providing private air charters, made possible by volunteer pilots and plane owners. The Red Tail Project The Red Tail Project seeks to inspire youth through an educational program using the WW2 P-51C Mustang-- "Tuskegee Airmen" and the inspirational story of overcoming adversity, which is the hallmark of the Tuskegee Airmen veterans.
