Minneapolis Charities Donations
Minnesota Vietnam Veterans Society is one of the outstanding Minneapolis charities that fund projects that serve the interests of United States Veterans and Service Members as well as their families.
Honoring U.S. Veterans
Americans have various ways of showing support for military veterans, including hanging banners and attaching stickers that say Support America's Veterans to their vehicles. These symbolic gestures can definitely touch the hearts of our veterans. However, most of us are unaware that a lot of veterans need more than just emotional support.
Thousands of veterans struggle with homelessness. Many of them still bear the scars of their past. Our veterans need all the help they can get and the donations Minneapolis residents are willing to give can go a long way when it comes to meeting their needs.
This is why Minneapolis charities, such as the Minnesota Vietnam Veterans Society, are committed to honoring Vietnam veterans in every way possible. Now that most of them are in the twilight of their lives, there is no better time to pay tribute to them for their sacrifices.
Projects for Veterans
Our Minnesota donation drive benefits Vietnam veterans in many ways. The proceeds go to projects such as Honor Flight Twin Cities which allows veterans to visit the memorial that was built in honor of their service, all expenses paid. Through this program, heroes are transported to Washington D.C. for one day to honor the memories of the friends they may have lost during the war.
The proceeds from our Minnesota donation drive also benefit families of deployed military personnel from Minnesota through our support of the MN Military Family Foundation. Through this program, grants or loans are awarded to veterans and their spouses or children when they face financial difficulties, given that they are qualified for the loan.
We also support other programs such as Veterans' Airlift Command, The Red Tail Project, and more. To give the cash donations Minneapolis veterans can use to lead more productive lives, fill out the form on this page or call 651-646-1054 and 612-366-5811 today.
